‘Tula en Juliet, mijn overgrootmoeder de slavin’ - Reprise of the theatrical concert with Ed Verhoeff (guitar), Quincy Braafhart (percussion) and Ilja Reingoud (trombone). It tells the true story of Juliet, the great-great grandmother of Izaline who experienced slavery and the abolution in and how Tula's heritage influenced her life. The performance met with great reviews and sold out in every house.

Tula remenbrance concert Ita - Every year, around August 17, a concert is organised tot remember the legacy of Tula, the leader of the slave-revolt of Curaçao. Next to co-starring, Izaline directed it, supporting her brother Roël Calister who was invited to direct this year's concert musically.

A Night with Queen Angelito - Ntianu Stuger, who was a former student of Izaline's at ATKA (Amsterdam’s Drama and Contemporary Music Theatre) asked Izaline to direct her first solo-theatre show. The show was produced by Orkater.


Caribbean Swing - New Year's Concerts with the PHION Symphonic Orchestra, conducted by Wayne Marshall. A serie of 10 concerts in January and February, with classical and caribbean repertoire. The orchestra even played a swinging tumba!

This band has been around for more than 10 years. From their inception in as Mike & the Mellotones they have been at the forefront of a new blues movement in Europe. In their native country of Holland they quickly made their way to the top based on a solid live reputation and an unparelleled ability to combine musicianship with showmanship. To stay on top it is essential, however, to reinvent yourself and keep up to date with new musical developments. Never the blues purists, The Mellotones have always managed to incorporate a number of styles into their music. First they named their particular blues brand Blues & Beyond but when they saw the term being used by more and more bands they chose a new title: Nu Bluz. BIOGRAFIE: Bekijk zeker even de video, dan zie je wat we bedoelen als we zeggen: Interactie en verzoekjes. Er is geen band zo interactief als de pianoshow van Michael. Het publiek bepaalt door middel van verzoekjes wat Michael gaat spelen met zijn band. Daarnaast ziet Michael, door zijn jarenlange ervaring, precies wat er moet gebeuren om het feest nog groter te maken. Een volkse meezinger? Een verzoekje? Wil iemand uit de zaal meespelen of -zingen? Geen band is zo flexibel en wendbaar als de Mike's Pianoshow. Hierdoor wordt elk feest persoonlijk en uniek. Mike weet als geen ander de mooie momenten te pakken en uit te vergroten.
